We arrived at our country club for an Easter Festival on Saturday, and they TOTALLY outdid themselves. Ella and I both arrived in hats to beat the sun–although we have been SO BLESSED this Spring with gorgeous weather!!!
They had tons of activities for the kids–balloons, hoops, football, ring toss–or you could be like me and just eat churros, cotton candy and drink Deep Eddy’s Vodka–it was fun for the adults too!!!
ˆˆˆˆPetting Zooˆˆˆˆ—yes, that is a kangaroo!!
ˆˆˆˆTrain rides–these big kids are thrilled and scared to DEATH!!! Similar to a roller coaster, but nothing like it all!! 😉 ˆˆˆˆ
ˆˆˆˆZipline and Rockwallˆˆˆˆ
Ella was like “whatever…we did this in Belize over a remote rainforest and nobody even spoke English!”
ˆˆˆNo Easter is complete without the Easter Bunny!! He frightened a couple of littles that weren’t sure why the bunny was the same size as their mother—uhh, that ain’t how it is in Peter Cottontail!!! This is how my dad and Holt show each other love–chokeholds!! I swear he’s fine!!! He likes it actually!!
ˆˆAnd lastly, they had the Easter Egg Hunt–Holt was out in front both years on a mission to find the “Golden Egg”–as you can see from these faces and this body language–he came up short!! He does NOT like to lose at ANYTHING!!!
ˆˆˆHere are our family pictures from Easter Sundayˆˆˆ
ˆˆˆAnd finally, this little cutie in this Easter bonnet with this big cutie that made my uterus flip flop!!! ˆˆˆ
